About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at Exceptional Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other external agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stable and loving environment, ensuring each young person achieves positive outcomes and learning experiences.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 6-12 months of experience working in a children's residential setting.
  • Full UK manual driving license (preferred).
