Job Title: HR and Organisational Development Business Partner

Our client, a London Local Authority, is seeking a skilled Diversity & Inclusion Manager for a 12-month contract.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join the team and contribute to shaping and growing the EDO agenda. It will suit a specialist in the EDI space or an experienced HR Business Partner or OD Partner looking to specialise.

Reporting to the Head of OD & Strategy, you will lead the delivery of an innovative and effective Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy and programme of work for the council. You will provide expertise to HR and council leaders in the development of inclusive performance management, leadership, colleague engagement & development, and in bringing organisational change and development expertise.

Working as part of the HR Team and OD specifically, the role is at the heart of the ambitious organisational EDI programme that champions the development of colleagues and shapes the organisational people management frameworks.

You must be an experienced HR professional with a track record of developing and delivering EDI strategies within the Public Sector. Candidates must also be CIPD level 5 qualified.

The role is hybrid, with a requirement to be onsite around once a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an innovative EDI strategy and programme of work for the council.
  • Provide expertise to HR and council leaders in the development of inclusive performance management, leadership, colleague engagement & development.
  • Lead the delivery of organisational change and development initiatives.
  • Work closely with the HR Team and OD to champion the development of colleagues and shape organisational people management frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing and delivering EDI strategies within the Public Sector.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • Strong expertise in HR and organisational development.
