Job Title: Technical Theatre Educator

Service Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical Theatre Educator to join our team at Salford City College on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced educator to teach technical theatre courses and contribute to the development of our students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical theatre and excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in key college processes, including enrolment and appraisal.
  • Act in accordance with college policies, such as Health and Safety, Equality & Diversity, and Quality Assurance.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Teach technical theatre courses to students, assessing their progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide reports and information to others as required by college quality assurance procedures.
  • Develop and deliver schemes of work, ensuring the curriculum is delivered to a high standard.
  • Manage resources and budgets effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the subject and general educational issues.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in technical theatre education.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
