New Homes

We create homes and regenerate areas with communities in mind. We work collaboratively with registered partners, local authorities, and private developers to provide high quality, energy efficient, and sustainable homes for people to live and grow.

Connected

We connect people through fixed-line and wireless telecom infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and access to information for all. At United Living, we have one of the largest specialist in-house teams for project management, acquisition, design, construction, and maintenance in the UK.

About the Role

We are seeking a Contract Manager to join our responsive team. The successful candidate will have experience of managing contracts, overseeing direct labour and supply chain models and implementing efficiencies. Our ideal candidate will already be a Contract Manager managing a repairs delivery model up. Experience in Housing is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and oversee direct labour and supply chain models
  • Implement efficiencies and improve performance
  • Procure packages of work with subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure best value and service to clients

Requirements

  • 5 Years' experience working for a maintenance/main contractor
  • Leadership experience
  • Good data interrogation skills
  • Valid driving licence
  • Competent use in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel Trackers
  • Excellent client engagement skills
  • Excellent Health and Safety Awareness
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to drive performance from your team of staff
