Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team in Canada. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction design projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design teams to deliver high-quality construction projects
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet project objectives
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure design alignment with project requirements
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential design issues
  • Manage design budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design management or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction design principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
