About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Smart DCC. As a key member of our Contract Management Team, you will be responsible for the management of our strategic, high-value, and complex contracts from contract signature to end of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial performance of our contracts, ensuring that suppliers deliver the value, quality, and compliance in line with the contract and performance obligations.
  • Lead contract negotiations and disputes, driving the best value for money for Smart DCC.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate contract-related risks and issues, and implement contract changes.
  • Support commercial stakeholders with market insights from knowledge gained from contracted suppliers.
  • Ensure all contract documentation is maintained in line with DCC material controls, with a full audit trail and all relevant obligations logged, tracked, and delivered.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in an open and auditable way.
  • Experience of managing delivery of contracts in scope, identifying, and managing contract-related risks and issues, and implementing contract changes.
