Project Management Engineer

Location: Dorchester, Dorset

Salary: Up to £50,000

The Role

To ensure the successful execution of innovative projects, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Management Engineer with robust leadership capabilities.

As part of a compact team, you will be an outstanding communicator, self-driven, and adept at meeting tight deadlines.

In your role, you will collaborate within a cross-functional project team to oversee and manage the implementation of intricate, custom-designed, robot-based, electromechanical systems intended for factory and process automation. Your inquisitive nature will be essential in identifying challenges and facilitating effective solutions.


About You
  • Proven experience in a project management or engineering role.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or equivalent experience.
  • A degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel at various levels within a project context.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to cultivate strong, effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Adept at managing a dynamic and fluctuating workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in organizing project meetings with both internal teams and high-level client representatives.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
