Mental Health and Well-being Services Ltd. (MHWS) is committed to enhancing mental health and promoting effective treatments to assist clients in their recovery journey. As we expand, we are seeking several Junior Neurodevelopmental Specialists to become part of our dedicated team. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare and education in psychology.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in supporting specialized clinical evaluations and interventions for adults with ADHD and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting the initial phase of a comprehensive ADHD assessment for adults suspected of having ADHD, ensuring thorough history-taking.
  2. Engaging in the reassessment of needs for adults previously diagnosed with ADHD, identifying any additional co-occurring conditions.
  3. Monitoring treatment responses and evaluating potential side effects.
  4. Considering the impact of assessments, including differential or co-occurring conditions and conducting risk assessments.
  5. Providing advice, recommendations, and support to clients.
  6. Completing physical assessments of service users as part of medication management (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse).
  7. Building trusting therapeutic relationships with service users, their caregivers, and families, facilitating effective communication of complex and sensitive information.
  8. Ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely documentation of clinical information on Trust electronic systems, including assessments, care plans, and outcomes.
