Electronics Design Specialist
Computer Futures is seeking an Electronics Design Specialist to join our team in Shropshire. As an Electronics Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing new products and maintaining existing ones. You will manage design projects from conception to volume manufacture, ensuring that designs are practical, robust, and cost-effective. Your expertise in schematic, PCB layout, mechanical, and firmware design will be essential in creating innovative electronic products. You will also be responsible for specifying microcontrollers for embedded systems and programming in C. Additionally, you will hand-build and test prototype boards, mentor junior engineers, and provide engineering support to other parts of the business. If you have experience in a design for manufacture environment and are proficient in analogue and digital circuits, PCB layout, and programming in C, we encourage you to apply. Knowledge of VB/VBA, Python, SMPS, LED lighting/drivers, battery charging, and EMC would be desirable. Apply now to take your career to the next level.
