About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design and Development Engineer to join our team at Recruitment Helpline Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new electronic products, including automotive battery management equipment and other electronic circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new electronic products, including automotive battery management equipment and other electronic circuits
  • Liaise with customers to design products to their requirements
  • Design electronic circuits, transfer information to electronic circuit software, and provide files for sub-contract PCB production
  • Produce drawings or samples from customer schematics or samples
  • Maintenance, modification, repair, and calibration of computer-controlled test equipment
  • Organising the testing of products, including writing test programmes and creating test sequences
  • Building prototypes, creating part lists, production drawings, and mechanical drawings
  • Building test rigs and equipment
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Raspberry Pi and Python (ability to write Python code an advantage)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work alone, as well as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
