This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Leadership Team, supporting Registered Manager and Deputy Managers in a brand-new children's home in Romsey, Hampshire. The home will comprise of three self-contained living areas and a communal space, providing innovative and therapeutic interventions for children with complex needs. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the service, ensuring high-quality care and support for our children.
You will work closely with the management team to develop and sustain an aspirational, child-centred culture, and apply your understanding of multi-disciplinary approaches and effective partnership working to maximise outcomes for children. Your leadership skills and experience in residential childcare will be essential in driving the success of this new service.
Once the home opens, the role will involve shift work, including early, late, or weekend shifts, as well as sleep-in shifts. Before this, you will work a combination of shifts and core office hours to support yours and the team's induction and preparations for opening.
