Job Title: Site/Project/Contract Manager
As a seasoned professional in the field of construction management, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update project workloads, schedules, and budgets using Excel and other relevant tools.
- Participate in site scoping meetings with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Oversee the entire site management process, including site preparation, construction, and handover.
- Lead the preconstruction phase, coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Compile and maintain accurate site safety files, CPHSPs, and RAMs, and liaise with the Project Director.
- Manage material requests, organize trades, and coordinate logistics using Excel and online portals.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure project alignment with client expectations.
- Deliver concise weekly reports on project progress, quality assurance, cost control, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's proven track record as a retail Contracts Manager.
- Proven expertise in managing retail construction sites with finesse.
- Possession of SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
- Advanced MS Suite skills, including Excel, Projects, and other relevant software applications.
