Job Title: Shift Leader Back of House

Job Type: Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Back of House team to deliver exceptional food quality and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Back of House team to achieve operational excellence and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and control controllable costs, including labor, inventory, and utilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu knowledge, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and guests to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to manage inventory, stock, and labor costs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
