Mental Health Support - Intervention - Pastoral Assistant - Graduate - Psychology - Criminology

Academics Ltd is seeking a recent Psychology Graduate to support the mental health of vulnerable young people.

This role offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector.

A specialist school near Coulsdon is looking for an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to provide support and guidance to students. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health support to students
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement support plans
  • Assist with the development and delivery of mental health programs
  • Provide guidance and support to students on a one-to-one basis

Requirements:
  • Recent Psychology Graduate
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues
  • Ability to provide a safe and supportive environment for students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
