Mental Health Support Role for Recent Graduates

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Academics Ltd and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a well-respected specialist school near Coulsdon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Participate in on-site training and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting
  • Right to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate of £80-£85
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4pm
  • Excellent on-site training and support
