About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Community Housing and Therapy. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in achieving their recovery goals and promoting a therapeutic culture within the service.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups, deliver individual key work sessions, and administer medication according to our policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with care teams and families, promoting high levels of client participation in service development and implementation.
  • Participate in formal reflective practice sessions, training, and supervision to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Comply with our Equal Opportunities Policy, Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, and other relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with or lived experience of complex mental health conditions.
  • Understanding of the recovery approach and ability to establish effective working relationships with clients.
  • Ability to respond appropriately and effectively to challenging or violent behaviour.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the statutory and voluntary services within mental health.
  • Positive and compassionate attitude towards working with those with complex mental health conditions.
