Raw Material Operations Manager

Objective of the Role
In today's competitive landscape, ensuring profitability and enhanced cost-effectiveness is crucial. A well-regulated and consistent process is essential to meet our expectations. The management of our raw materials serves as the cornerstone of this process, significantly influencing subsequent operations from extraction to drying.
To drive further advancements and enhance process regulation, we are introducing a new role: Raw Material Supervisor. This position is expected to yield a swift return on investment by improving the control of the liming and neutralization processes, optimizing the organization of ossein deliveries, and spearheading capital expenditure initiatives in this domain.
Without consistent management in this area, achieving our production goals while ensuring the desired quality and yield will be unattainable.
Key Responsibilities
Management of liming inventory records Assessment and regulation of pit levels along with corrective measures Monitoring and control of liming temperatures Coordination of daily operations and water consumption Performance oversight of operators in the raw material processing sector Management of attendance records for raw material processing personnel Scheduling of maintenance tasks for liming pits and valves Execution of housekeeping duties and audits in farm areas Development and revision of standard operating procedures for the farm Maintenance of training documentation for farm staff Receipt of raw materials in the SAP system Creation of liming pit process orders and ossein consumption records in SAP Allocation of processed materials for upcoming extractions in SAP Monitoring of chemical usage and management of chemical deliveries Primary contact for raw material transporters Main liaison for enhancement initiatives related to the raw material processing areaRequired Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum educational qualifications: BTEC, A Levels, or National Diploma Experience: At least 3-5 years in a relevant field Skills: Proficiency in SAP, adept in Microsoft Office Suite, experience in a production or manufacturing environment Behavioral Competencies: Strong people management skills, assertiveness, and effective communicationAdditional Insights
