Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our client's team in Telford. This role involves managing and supervising staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers
  • Ensure staff coverage and maintain an efficient rota
  • Provide training and identify training needs
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Act as a role model and key worker for young people
  • Maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulations
Requirements:
  • Diploma level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • In-depth knowledge of care needs and care plans for young people
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Ability to take on professional responsibility and identify training needs
  • Care Certificate
  • 1 year's managerial experience
