About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and client-oriented Assistant Director of Finance to enhance our outstanding finance team at Pan Pacific London. The ideal candidate will exhibit confidence, empathy, and professionalism in interactions with guests, clients, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel and supervising the work of section heads, including general ledger, credit control, fixed assets, cashiering, and income audit.
  2. Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations as required by corporate management in a timely manner.
  3. Ensure that all hotel collections are accurately accounted for and that sales receipts are deposited in accordance with established policies.
  4. Monitor the hotel’s cash flow and take necessary actions as needed.
  5. Maintain up-to-date operational accounting for the hotel.
  6. Oversee hotel expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and notifying relevant management for follow-up actions.
  7. Submit VAT, PAYE, and pension contributions regularly, with oversight from the Director of Finance.
  8. Ensure compliance with corporate and local standard operating procedures and policies.

Essential Attributes

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a passion for team development.
  • Prior experience in a fully self-accounting property.
  • Proficient working knowledge of SAP.
