Job Description

The Quality Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Great Bear's products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. This position oversees quality control procedures, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and reports on key metrics such as defect rates, customer complaints, and product returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit internal processes and procedures to maintain compliance with local standards (MHRA, BRCGS, ISO9001) and participate in external site audits.
  • Manage, control, and monitor quality incidents, reporting and initiating action as needed, including root cause analysis and CAPA close-outs.
  • Meet customer needs in all areas of quality-related requests and issues.
  • Provide daily review of quality systems and support to the Production Department.
  • Analyze and contribute to the continual improvement of Great Bear processes.
  • Train and brief new procedures/processes to relevant personnel.
  • Monitor and assist the training team with the Nvolve platform.
  • Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist in H&S processes and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customers.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Drive and desire to progress.
  • Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
  • Clear understanding of customer requirements, ensuring efficient and effective query resolution.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a professional attitude towards colleagues.
  • Organized and focused approach to administrative duties.
