Project Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in a fixed-term contract for two years.
As a key member of our multifunctional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our new products from design concept to serial production.
Your primary focus will be on creating and agreeing a team Quality Assurance strategy for New Product Introduction (NPI), managing Quality Assurance deliverables within our Gated workbook system, and leading Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on system, design, and process.
You will also be responsible for reviewing product quality historical data, providing reliability predictions, and taking an active role in design and test reviews.
Additionally, you will manage product/field risk assessments, record, track, and manage customer complaints using corrective and preventative action processes.
Shared ResponsibilitiesAll employees at Dräger have a responsibility to comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimize any impact on the environment while carrying out their duties.
You will also be expected to ensure and promote safe working conditions for all employees, visitors, and contractors by implementing, monitoring, and complying with occupational health and safety provisions.
Furthermore, you will be expected to embed our WeLEAD competencies, including building trust, creating value for customers, enabling others, providing direction, embracing diversity, and delivering results.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with related experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably in new product development.
You should also have regular use of APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP, as well as a thorough understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
Additionally, you should be IT literate, with Microsoft packages and SAP experience preferred but not essential.
You will also need to be self-motivated, with the ability to work without supervision, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Finally, you should be prepared to travel as required, both within the UK and abroad.
