About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in a fixed-term contract for two years.

As a key member of our multifunctional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our new products from design concept to serial production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a quality assurance strategy for new product introduction
  • Managing quality assurance deliverables within our Gated workbook system
  • Leading risk management and mitigation efforts on project risk registers
  • Conducting Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on systems, designs, and processes
  • Reviewing product quality historical data and providing reliability predictions
  • Participating in design and test reviews
  • Managing customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventative actions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met

Reporting Relationships

You will report to our Product Quality Manager and work closely with a team of 6 quality personnel.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline (degree desirable)
  • Related experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in new product development
  • Regular use of APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP
  • A thorough understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work without supervision
