Job Summary

GSL Education is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Administrative Officer to provide administrative support to a local Secondary School in Chichester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the school office, providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, and maintaining accurate records and databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and other staff members.
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain and update school records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of school communications.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, events, and appointments.
  • Handle inquiries from students, parents, and staff efficiently and professionally.
  • Support the organization and administration of school activities and programs.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the school office on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated high level of competency in ICT.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
