Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a Day Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the clinical needs of clients undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support clients in maintaining physical and personal well-being, including diet, hygiene, and appearance.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans and therapy guidelines, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Administer medication and continence care, adhering to infection control guidelines.
  • Ensure clients' dietary needs are met, following dietician guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Train and supervise staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support. You will have:

  • A valid NMC pin and registration as a Registered Nurse Adult.
  • Evidence of post-registration education and practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
