About the Role

This position focuses on Sales Partnerships and Alliances within Data Apps and KYC operating units. You will be responsible for establishing and developing regional partnerships, as well as managing a portfolio of global and strategic partners. These partnerships encompass Technology, Consulting, Advisory, and Agent partners who present new sales avenues and market access.

As part of the EMEA region team, you'll collaborate with a global network of Partner Managers to build enduring partnerships that drive sales growth and revenue expansion for Moody's.

Your Responsibilities
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Partner and Alliances business model and value proposition.
  • Develop effective communication strategies to ensure partners fully understand Moody's solutions and market position.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that maximize partner engagement and impact.
  • Deeply understand how Partnerships and Alliances contribute to achieving existing and new revenue targets, supporting sales objectives.
  • Implement the Partnerships and Alliances strategy across EMEA, providing support to wider territories if partners have a global footprint.
  • Manage and cultivate a designated number of current partner accounts to optimize growth and sales within or outside the region.
  • Identify and onboard new partners who complement Moody's business segments, delivering exceptional service to our clients.
  • Discover leading companies in their respective markets and effectively communicate this information to the Partnerships team and Moody's businesses.
  • Mitigate and manage partner risks associated with utilizing our data and solutions by implementing the partnership framework effectively.
  • Collaborate in developing use-case messaging and work with marketing to ensure insightful internal communications about partners, tailored for specific audiences.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, ideally in business, economics, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Typically, an employee at this level has 7+ years of experience in direct business-to-business sales roles, focusing on serving financial services and/or corporate treasury customers.
  • Proven experience in the business information and technology industry, serving large clients across diverse sectors with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer drivers.
  • Ability to present both high-level information and detailed product & service demonstrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful completion through consultative selling techniques.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment, demonstrating focus and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
