Job Description

**Director of Strategic Partnerships**

At McBride Sport, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth through governmental partnerships.

  • **Policy Advocacy**: Develop and implement policies that support the growth and protection of sports rights, including intellectual property, broadcasting regulations, and international sports diplomacy.
  • **Contractual Compliance**: Ensure all activities are in full compliance with relevant contractual agreements, regulations, and governmental target outcomes, particularly in areas related to economic impact, tourism, sports broadcasting, and rights management.
  • **International Representation**: Represent McBride Sport at governmental meetings, conferences, and events, both in the UK and internationally.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams, including legal, commercial, and marketing, to ensure alignment on governmental initiatives and partnerships.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years' experience in partnerships and ideally sports partnerships, including experience of managing governmental relations, public affairs, or a related field, with a focus on international partnerships. You will also have the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth through governmental partnerships and have strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. This role requires frequent international travel to meet with governmental partners and attend international sporting events.
