The Langham, London, a prestigious establishment and a leader in luxury hospitality, is currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to enhance our Back of House operations.

As a vital member of our culinary team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining impeccable cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Ensuring proper storage and organization of all kitchenware, including cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
  • Assisting culinary and service teams with the transportation of food and equipment.
  • Adhering to established cleaning protocols regarding chemicals and equipment, while following daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Complying with all health and safety regulations, ensuring work areas remain pristine at all times.
  • Reporting any incidents, damages, or potential safety hazards promptly.

Do you possess?

  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel environment with extensive banqueting and dining operations.
  • A strong commitment to cleanliness and professional appearance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • A collaborative spirit and strong teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH standards.
  • A good command of the English language.
