Job Summary
We are seeking a technically adept Pre-Sales Director to lead, mentor, and work with our Pre-Sales team to address the technical needs of potential customers. As a councillor and advisor to customers and technical coach to the team, you will be responsible for:
- Microsoft solutions across enterprise, networking, collaboration, security, data centre, and cloud.
- Conducting Pre-Sale activities, including responding to RFQ/RFT/ITT requests.
- Delivering multi-site contact centres and creating and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Using vendor configuration tools and designing resource/services/managed service led opportunities.
- Presenting to all levels from C-level to technical staff and creating business value through effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Pre-Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring the Pre-Sales team to achieve technical sales goals.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Conducting technical sales activities, including demonstrations and proof of concepts.
- Creating and delivering sales proposals and presentations.
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent experience in product applications, with a working knowledge of company products and related technologies.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of business-value selling tactics and techniques.
- At least three years of experience in Pre-Sales Management.
