Key Responsibilities- HR and Payroll Systems and Processes
- Act as a super-user of the HR, payroll, and benefits systems, providing expert support and guidance to employees and management.
- Manage user access and set up self-service functionality to ensure seamless employee experience.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and benefits checking, and the annual benefits renewal process.
- Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in the annual salary and bonus reviews, including data analysis and report preparation.
- Perform regular data integrity checks and data cleansing of the HR and Payroll system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- HR Management Information
- Create and generate ad-hoc reports requested by HR team members, Managing Partners, Directors, and other leaders across the firm.
- Assist in producing monthly reports for the Management Board, HR Team, Departmental Managing Partners, and ensure accurate and timely presentation and distribution.
- Support the Senior HR Systems and MI Analyst in data analysis and reporting for engagement and appraisal systems, practising certificate renewal, and ED&I reports.
- Payroll
- Assist the Senior Payroll & Reward Adviser with monthly payroll processing, including preparation of variable input for the outsourced payroll provider.
- Support the annual P11D process, including data collation and coordination with the payroll provider.
- Ensure new starter checklists and P45s are received and sent to the payroll provider, and issue P45s and final pay details to leavers.
- Deal with ad-hoc payroll queries from employees and escalate to relevant individuals as necessary.
- Reward
- Assist the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in preparing draft salary and bonus review information.
- Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager and Senior Payroll & Reward Adviser in preparing salary and bonus review communications.
- Compile draft salary benchmarking data for annual salary reviews.
- Assist with the preparation and publication of Reward team communications.
- Benefits
- Prepare and upload benefit membership reports.
- Collate and review monthly provider reports and invoices.
- Assist with the annual benefits renewal project, including policy collation and document preparation.
- Research new benefits and reward structures, including review of staff survey results.
- Highly experienced HR Assistant/Administrator with a payroll and benefits emphasis.
- Advanced user of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Clear speaking, listening, and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay focused and organised.
- Collaborative working style with other team members.
- Strong customer service skills.
