Müller Milk & Ingredients aspires to lead the private label dairy market in Britain, producing both branded and private label products including fresh milk, cream, butter, and various ingredient items. The company operates a comprehensive network of dairies and distribution centers that cater to customers nationwide.

Responsible for iconic brands such as Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, FRijj, and Müller Kefir Smoothie, Müller also produces chilled desserts under license from Mondelez International and supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a state-of-the-art yogurt production facility.


Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer Technician

Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (days & nights)

Salary: Competitive

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality scheduled and unplanned/reactive maintenance throughout the facility. You will actively diagnose root causes of issues and restore equipment to operational status as swiftly as possible, while also identifying and implementing cost-effective enhancements to site assets and machinery, thereby improving overall efficiency and reliability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Become proficient with all relevant Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical schematics.
  • Utilize basic automation skills for troubleshooting and resolution, alongside strong electrical expertise (HNC equivalent) and sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement.
  • Thoroughly complete all maintenance tasks, including Planned Maintenance (PM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), Continuous Improvement (CI), and corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational performance.

What We Seek in a Multi-Skilled Engineer:
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering preferred, with Mechanical qualifications or competencies as a supplementary asset.
  • Experience in maintenance within the manufacturing sector.
  • IOSHH / Nebosh certification is desirable.

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, alternating between days and nights (2 Days, 2 Nights).
