Job Summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Somerset. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by performing planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • Recognized engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
