About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facility, with 27 production lines running 24/7.

Your primary focus will be on delivering a high-quality engineering service, working closely with the Engineering Team Leader to rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults.

You will be responsible for completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area, continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.

Additionally, you will be involved in factory improvement projects, working collaboratively with the team to drive innovation and excellence.

About You

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background, holding a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or being time served.

Candidates from an FMCG/food background are highly desirable, but we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military personnel are welcome to apply.

  • L3 engineering qualification or time served
  • Multi-skilled background – either biased
  • Confident in putting forward new ideas and suggestions
  • Accurate in daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail
  • Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment
  • Further skillset overview: fault finding in panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters, Drives, Motors, Pumps, Pneumatics, and Pipework
