Job Opportunity: Homelessness Prevention Officer

Stockport Homes Group is a leading provider of housing and community services, committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Homelessness Prevention Officer to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can deliver a high-quality service to customers, working positively within a team setting to prevent homelessness and provide advice and assistance to those in housing need. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of housing options and homeless prevention tools, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advice and assistance to customers in housing need
  • Work with customers to explore alternative accommodation options
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of housing options and homeless prevention strategies
