Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at AWD online. As a Technical Helpdesk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing first-line and second-line support on our busy IT service desk, covering a broad range of IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Networks, and remote Desktop/Workstation support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote technical support for Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Configure and support wireless networks and related technologies, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of Microsoft Office/365 applications.
  • Effectively manage and resolve technical issues reported by clients, escalating where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client interactions are professional, clear, and supportive.
Requirements
  • A sound, basic understanding of IT and IT terminology, including Windows Server and Workstation products as well as networking technologies.
  • Experience with Windows desktop operating systems, installing, configuring, and administering, including connecting to a Microsoft Windows Network/Domain.
  • Experience in configuring wireless networks and technologies.
  • A good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365 is essential.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and cooperate as part of a team.
  • Excellent telephone manner and friendly customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail is very important.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving coupled with common sense.
  • Punctuality and a willingness to be flexible with working arrangements.
