Role Objective:
As a vital member of ADP's GlobalView Business Excellence team, the Global Project Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and management of international strategic initiatives to fulfill predetermined objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints. This role requires adherence to ADP GlobalView's established project methodologies while effectively managing the expectations of sponsors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties/Tasks



• Directs projects from inception to completion, including leading the initiation and planning stages while navigating through the necessary phase gates.

• Develops and implements project work plans, assessing resource requirements and adjusting as necessary to accommodate changing demands.

• Holds responsibility for project outcomes, proactively addressing project challenges.

• Guides project teams, ensuring effective management of progress, quality, and financial resources.

• Issue, Risk & Change Management:
o Oversees project scope and evaluates the implications of requested modifications.
o Acts as the escalation point for project issues that require resolution to ensure project success.
o Facilitates inter-departmental collaboration for specific project tasks.
o Implements risk management strategies through proactive mitigation measures.
o Ensures proper documentation and approval of change requests.

• Accountable for overall project coordination, status updates, and maintaining project stability.

• Inspires and leads project teams towards achieving project goals.

• Manages project interdependencies with other project leaders.

• Coordinates communication across diverse project and business teams.

• Engages with project stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations.

• Tailors project management processes and methodologies to enhance project success.

• Provides monthly project status reports and collaborates closely with key stakeholders and senior management to address project obstacles.

• Works alongside management to refine methodologies and fosters positive working relationships with fellow project managers.

• Ensures adherence to established methodologies and standards.

• Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Experience:


• 2-3 years of experience in project management.

• Proven experience leading projects through the entire project lifecycle.

• Background in a structured project management environment (e.g., as part of a PMO).

• Exposure to an international work setting.

• Experience in crafting and delivering presentations to varied audiences, including senior management and both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Knowledge of change management and benefits realization within project management.

Skills:


• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, CMMI, ITIL, SDLC, RUP, etc.).

• Ability to strategically manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.

• Extensive knowledge of project management tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.

• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.

• Proficient communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively.

• Capable of thriving under pressure.
