Lead Surgical Nurse | Private Healthcare | Competitive Compensation | Permanent / Full-Time

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a skilled Lead Surgical Nurse to become an integral part of our innovative and dedicated nursing team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Surgical Nursing unit on the ward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations effectively.
  • Identify and communicate any concerns to the Ward Manager.
  • Provide support to the nursing team and students.
  • Delegate tasks efficiently among team members.
  • Make informed discharge decisions in collaboration with our consultant team.
  • Deliver individualized nursing care and procedures adhering to the highest standards and hospital protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Ward Manager or team leader to ensure optimal patient care and departmental efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin.
  • A minimum of 1 year of senior nursing experience is required.
  • Ward experience is preferred for this role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to outstanding patient care.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week with internal rotation from Monday to Sunday.
