Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver customized assistance and mentorship to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths
  • Develop personalized lesson frameworks to cater to various learning preferences and capabilities
  • Evaluate and track student advancement, modifying instructional techniques as necessary
  • Engage in effective communication with students, guardians, and educational staff regarding student progress
  • Keep precise records of student participation, accomplishments, and areas needing improvement
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Expertise in the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
  • Experience in supporting students with SEN
Educational Background:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline

Professional Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in instructing GCSE English and Maths to students with SEN

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to modify teaching approaches to accommodate the diverse needs of learners
  • Competence in utilizing technology to enhance educational experiences
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience in performing assessments and formulating individual education plans
Work Environment:
  • Primarily operate in a home-based setting

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
