Job Title: Special Needs Assistant - Autism Support

Location: Braintree

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Job Type: Part-time

GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' SEN School in the Braintree area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with autism and other special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with autism and other special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with autism and other special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
