Special Education Needs Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our Special School in Braintree. This full-time permanent position is ideal for an educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of SEN students.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teacher is desirable but not essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
