Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Content Executive to join our team at Taylor & Francis Group. As a key member of our Web Marketing (Researcher Services) Team, you will be responsible for creating and curating high-quality digital content that engages our key customer groups: Authors, Librarians, and Editors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies that align with our business positioning and content marketing campaigns.
  • Curate and create trusted digital content, including blog posts, articles, and social media content, to drive engagement and traffic to our websites.
  • Conduct research to understand customer needs, digital content trends, and competitor activity to inform content marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement content marketing campaigns, including project planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and utilize web traffic analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization skills to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly web page layouts that align with our company/brand guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content in the form of webinars, infographics, and other formats.
  • Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Contribute to the development of our content strategy and provide feedback on team innovations and strategy implementation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in content marketing campaign delivery and an understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Evidence-based approach to activities, with the ability to use data to inform all areas of work.
  • Excellent project management, copywriting, and proofreading skills with an eye for digital design.
  • Demonstrable channel and customer awareness, with evidence of using this knowledge to guide own work.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • Knowledge and ability of IT systems, including core MS Office packages and content management systems (CMS).
