Job Description

Taylor & Francis Group is a leading academic publishing, business intelligence, knowledge, and events business, creating unique content and connectivity for customers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Web Content Executive to join our Web Marketing (Researcher Services) Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for curating and creating trusted digital content, in line with content strategy and business positioning. This will involve developing an understanding of customer needs and digital content trends to inform content marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, report on, and optimize digital content, ensuring measures to track success.
  • Act as a key project group member on multi-channel content marketing campaigns, maintaining planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support research to understand channel, customer, competitor, and market developments, feeding outcomes into team planning, process, and best practice documentation.
  • Develop and utilize web traffic analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization skills to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • Create visually appealing, user-friendly web page layouts that align with company/brand guidelines and advise on website content.
  • Identify ways to repurpose existing content in the form of webinars, infographics, etc.
  • Grow and maintain key sources of internal information for the team, including SharePoint pages and project documentation.
  • Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Contribute ideas for, and provide feedback on, team innovations and strategy implementation, working towards a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in content marketing campaign delivery and an understanding of SEO principles and best practice.
  • Evidence-based approach to activities, with the ability to use data to inform all areas of work.
  • Excellent project management, copywriting, and proofing skills with an eye for digital design.
  • Demonstrable channel and customer awareness, with evidence of using this knowledge to guide own work.
  • Strong communication skills: works collaboratively to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • Knowledge and ability of IT systems, including core MS Office packages and content management systems (CMS).
