Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Marketing Specialist to join our Web Marketing (Researcher Services) Team at Taylor & Francis Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and curating high-quality digital content that aligns with our content strategy and business positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Curation: Plan, implement, and optimize digital content to engage our key customer groups, including authors, librarians, and editors.
  • Content Marketing Campaigns: Act as a key project group member on multi-channel content marketing campaigns, maintaining planning, tracking, and reporting, and contributing ideas for ongoing optimization.
  • Research and Analysis: Support research to understand channel, customer, competitor, and market developments, feeding outcomes into team planning, process, and best practice documentation.
  • Web Traffic Analysis and Optimization: Develop and utilize web traffic analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization skills to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • Visual Content Creation: Create visually appealing, user-friendly web page layouts that align with company/brand guidelines and advise on website content.
  • Content Repurposing: Identify ways to repurpose existing content in the form of webinars, infographics, etc.
  • Content Management: Grow and maintain key sources of internal information for the team, including SharePoint pages and project documentation.
  • Content Scheduling: Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute ideas for, and provide feedback on, team innovations and strategy implementation, working towards a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • Content Marketing Experience: Experience in content marketing campaign delivery and an understanding of SEO principles and best practice.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Evidence-based approach to activities, with the ability to use data to inform all areas of work.
  • Project Management and Copywriting Skills: Excellent project management, copywriting, and proofing skills with an eye for digital design.
  • Channel and Customer Awareness: Demonstrable channel and customer awareness, with evidence of using this knowledge to guide own work.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills: works collaboratively to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Digital Analytics Tools: Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • IT Systems and Content Management Systems: Knowledge and ability of IT systems, including core MS Office packages and content management systems (CMS).
