Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at South Thames Colleges Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive and high-quality HR service to managers and staff across the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and talent development.
- Support the delivery of service plans and assist with the achievement of operational targets and objectives.
- Assist with employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinaries, capability, and absence management.
- Undertake job evaluations and ensure adherence with the Group's job evaluation arrangements.
- Support the HR Advisors in conducting induction sessions for new members of staff and co-ordinate the arrangements as necessary.
- Monitor and review costs associated with HR functions to ensure that services are provided within allocated budgets.
- Significant experience in an operational HR role, leading an HR team, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Experience of employee relations casework, including negotiating with ACAS Conciliators and preparing Employment Tribunals.
- UK and relevant European legislation and associated case law experience.
- CIPD or working towards gaining CIPD Level 7.
