Job Title: Human Resources Manager

As a key member of the Human Resources team at South Thames Colleges Group, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive and high-quality HR service to managers and staff across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Support the delivery of service plans and assist with the achievement of operational targets and objectives.
  • Assist with employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinaries, capability, and absence management.
  • Undertake job evaluations and ensure adherence with the Group's job evaluation arrangements.
  • Support the HR Advisors in conducting induction sessions for new members of staff and co-ordinating the arrangements as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in an operational HR role, leading an HR team, developing and implementing HR Policies and procedures.
  • Experience of Employee relation casework, including negotiating with ACAS Conciliators and preparing Employment Tribunals.
  • UK and relevant European legislation and associated case law experience.
  • CIPD or working towards gaining CIPD Level 7.
