About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
