We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Retail Human Resources plc. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our stores, ensuring costs are contained within targets and maximizing store profitability through sales promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the store manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase store profitability.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  4. Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring they are within budget and making recommendations for cost savings where possible.
  5. Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement visual merchandising plans, ensuring the store is visually appealing and merchandise is displayed effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
