About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Superdrug. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading your team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and service targets
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Manage stock levels and inventory to ensure optimal availability and minimize waste
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and customer service
