We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Communication and Liaison: Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities to upsell and promote our loyalty program, IHG Rewards Club, to increase revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in a front desk or guest services role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
