About Fawkes & Reece
Fawkes & Reece is a leading Tier 1 Main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a prestigious £70 million project.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and financial reports, building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and preparing and negotiating final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project profitability.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to identify and mitigate potential cost risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- Industrial and ground work (deep earthworks) experience.
- Proven track record of working for a main contractor or similar size.
- Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
