Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at LinkPoint Resources Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with proposals, monitoring project progress, and controlling costs to maximize income.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify the scope of works and assess the associated costs
  • Review quotes from third parties and select the most suitable options
  • Assess project risks and incorporate them into the estimates
  • Take into account inflation and exchange rates when preparing quotes
  • Prepare projected timescales with provisions for unexpected events
  • Agree costs, budgets, and project variances with clients
  • Manage contractual agreements and resolve any disputes
  • Prepare customer invoices in line with contracts and manage cashflow
  • Ensure profit margins are met while complying with all policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
  • Experience estimating and running projects over £5m
  • Experience specifically with carpentry, joinery, and fit-outs
  • Good project management skills and ability to adapt to change
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Experience working with third parties and customers
  • Excellent teamworking skills and high level of integrity
  • Full, clean driving license with vehicle
